Community Access
Staying connected with our community plays a significant role in one’s well being. At SPWD, we make all community activities accessible in a friendly and seamless manner to make your life more meaningful every day.
Appointments
We facilitate adequate and proper motor vehicle transportation to help you travel to your appointments. If you need it, we also have a support worker tag you along to help you feel more comfortable.
Schools
It is our staff’s responsibility to drop off and pick up your young kids from school and other learning activities. Our priority is their safety and comfort. We also provide adequate transportation if needed.
School Holiday Program
Our holiday programs are designed to support your child’s social and skill development through a range of fun activities within the centre and through community visits and excursions.
Libraries
We encourage all the members at SPWD to pursue their interests. If you like to spend a couple of hours at the library, we would love to take you and be by your side for your assistance.
Parks
Spending some time in a nearby park or taking a walk in the neighbourhood freshens you up. Our staff takes care of your time with nature and ensures you are comfortable within your surroundings.
Excursions
SPWD PTY LTD supports you if and when you need it, to live the life you have always wanted. Our team is enthusiastic and genuine about supporting you to achieve your goals under the NDIS.
We run two Excursion Programs.
- Holiday Excursions
- Weekly Excursions (Saturdays)
Our program supports activities that encourage the participants to learn new skills, stay active, and find creative ways to express yourselves in social settings.
The weekly excursions are an attempt to create an inclusive, engaging, and fun environment.
